This is a short list of our most frequently asked questions. For more information about Bath Boules, please get in touch.

  • Each year, local charities put themselves forward to request a portion of the money raised. The Bath Boules Trustees decide which charities the money should go to. Read more about it here.

  • You can sponsor the event, become a partner, enter a team or even donate a raffle prize for charity. We’re very open to your suggestions! Read more about it here

  • No! It’s a free party for everyone who wants to come. Every year the numbers rise – and there are far more just having a great time than playing Boules. Bring your friends and join in!

  • Team tickets and vouchers are available to buy on our Boules Ticket page. You'll then receive a confirmation email. Alternatively, secure a team place through sponsoring the event.

  • A team consists of three players but you can bring more players to swap for each game if you would like to.

  • Gates open at 8.30am. Games will start at 9.30am.

    There will be several heats each day plus the quarter finals, semi finals and finals.

    The finals are planned to start at 6.30pm on each day, but the event usually goes on into the night.

  • Team registration includes entry to the tournament, lunch for three people and a bottle of wine.

    After registration, you'll be sent an email containing all the vital information. You'll also receive a pack on the day, which includes extra information including the rules.

  • We'll be creating a schedule of events shortly. In the meantime, follow @BathBoules for the latest news.

  • There will be several heats plus the quarter finals, semi finals and finals.

  • Of course! Fancy dress is encouraged and in fact, there’s a prize for the best-looking team!

  • Yes!

    Three food and drink tickets will be supplied on the day as part of your team registration. Additional food and drink can be purchased throughout the day in Queen Square and every bit of money spent benefits charity.

  • Feel free to bring cameras, picnic blankets, etc. Also, a competitive spirit is optional, but good sportsmanship is a must.
