Join in Bath Boules Week

Each year, local charities put themselves forward to request a portion of the money raised. The Bath Boules Trustees decide which charities the money should go to. Read more about it here.

Proceeds from the Bath Boules Week will go to the Bath Boules Trust. Team tickets for the Bath Boules will go on sale on March 8, all other tickets will be going on sale soon and announced via email. It is free to spectate at the Bath Boules. The School of Boules is free to attend, but you will need to register when registration opens.

You can sponsor the event, become a partner or even donate a raffle prize for charity. We’re very open to your suggestions! If you’re interested in any of these, please contact us.

No! It’s a free party for everyone who wants to come. Every year the numbers rise – and there are far more just having a great time than playing Boules. Join in!

Click on 'Register Your Team' at the top of the page from Wednesday 13th March at midday. Confirm your payment through Eventbrite and then complete the registration form. You'll then receive a confirmation email. Alternatively, secure a team place through sponsoring the event.

Play Boules

The finals are planned to start at 6.30pm on each day, but the event usually goes on into the night. The new Friday Night event is seperately ticketed and will finish at 11pm.

Team registration includes entry to the tournament, lunch for three people and a bottle of wine.

We'll be creating a schedule of events shortly. In the meantime, follow @BathBoules for the latest news.

There will be five heats plus the quarter finals, semi finals and finals.

Check out the rules of Boules! We’ll also include them in your pack on the day, just in case.

Of course! Fancy dress is encouraged and in fact, there’s a prize for the best-looking team! Check out the photos from last year for inspiration: FridaySaturday and Sunday.

The more the merrier – we want to make this a great Bath event – our Summer Party. (To say, friends would obviously not be included in the team price for food and drink.)

After registration, you'll be sent an email containing all the vital information. You'll also receive a pack on the day, which includes extra information.

You need a minimum of three players; there is no maximum. Players can be rotated so everyone gets a chance to play.

Three food and drink tickets will be supplied on the day as part of your team registration. Additional food and drink can be purchased throughout the day in Queen Square.

If you, or someone you know, has particular dietary requirements, please email us with as much information as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Gates open at 8am. Games will start at 9.30am.

Feel free to bring cameras, picnic blankets, etc. Food and drinks are available on site. Also, a competitive spirit is optional, but good sportsmanship is a must.
